Missing a piece of the casing, a clip, a cover or another small component in your laptop, and ordering a whole compatible part seems disproportionately expensive? We 3D-print the missing elements on our own 3D printer. Repair usually takes 1–3 working days.
In short: Thanks to our own 3D printer, we print missing or damaged laptop components — casing fragments, clips, covers or other small parts — instead of ordering an expensive, complete replacement part. We also have a custom-built keyboard desoldering machine, designed and built using 3D printing technology by our own engineering office. Service available in Warsaw, repair usually takes 1–3 working days.
Our experience in 3D printing for laptops
Our workshop has its own 3D printer, which we use when repairing casings, hinges and small mounting elements. Our engineering office has also designed a custom keyboard desoldering machine based on this technology — a solution you won’t find in a typical repair shop.

A printed part instead of a whole replacement component
Many casing repairs don’t require replacing the entire shell — it’s enough to print a single missing element, for example a clip, a piece of the bezel or a mounting bracket. Instead of ordering a whole casing, the price of which can be close to the price of the entire laptop (this is an illustrative example, not a price list — we provide an exact quote after inspection), we can print just the missing fragment, which significantly reduces the repair cost whilst keeping the original casing.
When you’re looking for 3D printing of laptop parts
Usually people come to us who search online for: „missing piece of laptop casing”, „3D printing laptop parts Warsaw” or „replacement plastic laptop cover”. If you recognise your situation in these phrases, you’ll probably solve it right here with us.
Symptoms — when to consider 3D printing
- A piece of the casing is missing, e.g. after dropping or damaging the laptop
- A clip, cover or other small mounting element is damaged
- The original replacement part is very expensive or unavailable
- Keys on the keyboard don’t stay in place or the supporting mechanism is missing
- A non-standard, precision part is needed that isn’t available for sale
Our custom-built keyboard desoldering machine was created precisely because we noticed how often the key mechanism itself is the only damaged component — and replacing the entire keyboard can be disproportionate to the scale of the fault.

What happens if you delay the repair
A missing case part won’t fix itself, and its absence usually leads to further damage. Delaying repair typically results in:
- Dust and moisture get inside through the missing part of the casing
- Neighbouring housing components lose support and also start to crack
- A missing clip or cover can be lost completely
- Instead of 3D-printing a single element, it may be necessary to replace a larger section of the casing
How 3D printing of parts works at our service centre
1. Free inspection
We check which part is missing or damaged and whether it can be 3D-printed.
2. Projekt elementu
We prepare a precise model of the missing part tailored to the specific laptop.
3. Druk i dopasowanie
We print the part and precisely fit it to the mounting location in the casing.
4. Assembly and inspection
We install the newly printed part and pass the laptop through our three-stage quality control.
Above, we describe how the process works in our service centre. This is not a DIY repair guide — designing and 3D printing precision components requires experience and proper equipment, so we recommend bringing your laptop to a service centre.

Frequently asked questions
Which laptop components can be 3D printed?
Most commonly, these are sections of the casing, clips, covers, and small mounting elements. We assess the range of possibilities individually during a free inspection.
Is 3D printing cheaper than ordering an original part?
Often yes, especially when the original part isn’t sold separately but only as part of a large assembly — we provide an exact cost comparison after the inspection.
What is the custom keyboard resoldering machine?
It’s a device built by our engineering team based on 3D printing technology, which allows us to precisely repair individual keys without replacing the entire keyboard.
How long does it take to print a missing part?
Repairs usually take 1–3 working days; in more complex cases, we agree on the timeframe individually after diagnostics.
How much does 3D printing of a laptop part cost?
You’ll find current rates in the price list — we always provide an exact quote after a free inspection.
Prices for all services can be found in our price list.
