You’ve already been to another repair shop, paid for a part, and your laptop still doesn’t work or has got even worse? We check what actually went wrong and fix the problem at its source — without putting you at further risk. Repair usually takes 1–3 working days.
In short: We repair laptops that don’t work properly after an unsuccessful repair at another service centre — often because the wrong component was replaced or the customer bought a part at their own risk that later burnt out. We start with a full, thorough inspection to find the real cause before we replace anything. Service available in Warsaw, repair usually takes 1–3 working days.
Our experience with repairs after other service centres
We regularly receive laptops after an unsuccessful repair elsewhere. Thanks to microscopes, oscilloscopes and full diagnostics, we’re able to check not only what is currently damaged, but also whether the previous repair introduced an additional problem — such as overheating, poor assembly or an incorrectly chosen part.

How a burnt-out motherboard happens after a 'cheap repair’
When cheaper service centres don’t have the required part in stock, they’re often afraid to take responsibility for ordering it. They then tell the customer: 'labour will be cheap with us, but order the part yourself on eBay, AliExpress, Amazon or Allegro, and we’ll fit it’. The customer buys, for example, a motherboard for several hundred, sometimes over a thousand zloty at their own risk, brings it to the service centre, the part gets fitted — and after some time it turns out that the problem wasn’t with the motherboard at all, but with, say, the screen cable, and the new motherboard burns out because of it. The service centre then responds: 'we’re not at fault, you ordered the wrong part’. There’s no refund, because the part is burnt out.
We later received such customers. In one such case, it turned out that on the first, 'old’ motherboard, one specific fuse needed replacing, burnt out at the display connector — a worn screen cable caused a short circuit, which that fuse protected against. It would have been enough to replace the cable and the fuse to repair the laptop without buying a new motherboard for thousands of pounds.
When you’re looking for repair after unsuccessful repair
We usually receive people who search online for: ’laptop still not working after repair’, ’I bought a motherboard and the service centre says it’s not their fault’ or ’second computer repair service opinion Warsaw’. If you recognise your situation in these phrases, you’ll probably resolve it with us.
Symptoms — when it’s worth seeking a second opinion
- Laptop still doesn’t work despite replacing the part recommended by another service centre
- Previous service centre asked you to order the part yourself at your own risk
- Newly fitted part got damaged shortly after repair
- A new problem appeared that wasn’t there before the previous repair
- You received an unclear explanation of why the repair failed
When we provide a diagnostic result, we’re one hundred per cent certain of it. We never encourage a customer to buy expensive parts at their own risk — because that’s exactly how people lose money twice over.

What not to do after a failed repair
If your laptop still doesn’t work after a repair elsewhere, it’s worth being careful about a few things before taking it anywhere else:
- Don’t buy another expensive part 'on your own’ without a certain diagnosis
- Don’t agree to another 'trial’ repair without a concrete quote
- Don’t throw away the old, replaced part — it may be needed for comparison during diagnostics
- Don’t delay getting a second opinion if you suspect the problem is getting worse
How a repair after a failed repair works at our service centre
1. Full diagnostics from scratch
We don’t assume the previous diagnosis was correct — we check the laptop from the ground up with our own equipment.
2. Verification of the previous repair
We check whether the previously replaced part and its installation are an additional source of the problem.
3. Concrete repair quote
We state clearly what actually needs repairing and how much it will cost before we start work.
4. Repair and inspection
We carry out the repair and test the laptop through a three-stage quality control process.
Above, we describe how the process works at our service centre. This is not a DIY repair guide — full diagnostics after a previous failed repair requires specialist equipment and experience, so we recommend bringing your laptop to our service centre.

Frequently asked questions
The previous repair shop told me to buy the part myself — is that normal?
This is a common practice at cheaper repair shops when they don’t want to take responsibility for the diagnosis. We always establish a clear diagnosis first and only then tell you what we’ll repair and how much it will cost.
Can a laptop be repaired if a previous repair made it worse?
In most cases, yes. We start with a full diagnostic from scratch to find the actual cause, rather than relying on previous findings.
What if I bought an expensive part that burnt out after installation at another repair shop?
We’ll check whether the cause was an incorrect match between the part and the actual fault. Sometimes the real problem was much smaller than the part that was replaced.
How long does a repair take after a failed repair at another service centre?
Repairs typically take 1–3 working days; for more complex cases, we agree on the timeframe individually after diagnostics.
How much does a repeat inspection and repair cost?
Current rates are available in our price list — we always provide an exact quote after a free inspection.
Prices for all services can be found in our price list.
