In both cases we use the same proven method — metal adhesive and reinforcement with a 3D-printed element — and we can print the missing casing fragment instead of ordering an entirely new housing. We avoid ordinary epoxy, which cheaper repair shops use — it holds worse and floods the casing so that it can’t be disassembled again later.
